Unlike other forms of emotional abuse, including indifference, silent treatment and witnessing domestic violence, researchers categorized verbal abuse as more “overt” and said it “warrants special attention.”Ĭommissioned by Words Matter - a British charity that aims to improve children’s health by ending verbal abuse - the study was carried out by researchers at Wingate University in North Carolina and University College London. Depends on which template your website uses.Parents have a right to be stressed. Keep in mind that the main menu is sometimes defined in the template instead with a menu module in the modules list. Or, you can limit the main menu below some level in the module that publishes it on the frontend.ĭisabling a menu item on the frontend: open menu item - Link Type - Display in menu - NOĭisplaying a menu to a certain level: open menu module - define start level as 1, end level as a final level you want the module to display. ![]() Instead of making a hidden menu, you can create the main menu with a lot of levels (by defining parent items), but then opt not to publish some items there. Now, here is the question: how you are going to do it if you have too many levels and you don't want to publish all items on, let's say 4-5 levels in the frontend. In other words, according to your planned structure, you have to determine which item is a root item, and which will be defined with which parent item. Just like /u/sharkcon said, you have to create a hierarchy for your menu items. And I tried making a new hidden menu, and recreating the diamonds/regency hierarchy, but it wouldn't let me do that, because I was already using the Diamonds alias, in the main menu. I tried making the "Round" page, a hidden option in the main menu, and couldn't find the option for that. But, the problem is, I can't figure out how to make a hidden menu, that points a few layers deep like that. The nesting doesn't go any farther than that, and I don't expect it to ever go deeper than that. So I am trying to get /diamonds/regency/round to be the URL. The regency page, has links to several pages, one page is called "Round", one is called "Oval". ![]() So I have a main menu, with a header called "Diamonds", under diamonds one option is "Regency", this takes you to the regency page. I'm trying to create a custom URL for a few pages, that are nested from a page, that is on the main menu. Hi, so I'm back, I'm trying to implement your solution, and I'm having a problem. I'm really hoping someone here knows what I'm missing. There has to be something I'm missing, but I just can't find any options in the Page Builder, the Joomla control panel, or in the PageBuilder docs. However, I can't figure out how to clean up the URL, for sites not directly linked under the menu. I have no idea why or how it changed the URL from /component/sppagebuilder/?view=page&id=92 to that, but I like it. Now when I go to mysite, and click that link under the info tab, my site will take me to the "Clarity Enhanced Diamonds" page, and the url will be I've noticed that if I link a page, under a menu header, the URL will automatically change, for example, I have a menu item labeled "Info", and under the "Info" tab, I have a page called "Clarity Enhanced Diamonds". Right now I will create a page with the page builder, and when I publish it, it's link will look like one of these /index.php?view=page&id=84 or /component/sppagebuilder/?view=page&id=92 Hi, I have a Joomla website, and I am using the Sp Page Builder plugin.
